Directions to The String Shoppe

 
 

The String Shoppe is in the Riverside section of Buffalo, NY, the Northwest corner of the City.
 
Coming from the North: Take Military Road to Skillen and turn right. The first traffic light on Skillen is Ontario; make a left on Ontario. The String Shoppe is just past the second cross street, on the right side of the street.

Coming from North Buffalo, the Delaware District, the West Side or Downtown Buffalo: Take Delaware or Elmwood north to Hinman and turn left.  At Military Rd. the name of the Street changes to Skillen but continue on. The first traffic light after Military is Ontario. Turn left on Ontario. The String Shoppe is just after the second  street, on the right side.

Coming from South Buffalo or the South Towns: Take the Skyway and exit on to I 190 North (The Niagara Section of the Thruway). Get off at Amherst Street. There is a traffic light at the end of the exit ramp. That is Niagara Street and you turn left on Niagara. Ontario Street is at a traffic light, about a mile on Niagara, on the right side only. Turn right on Ontario. The String Shoppe is on the left side, a mile or so , just past Philadelphia Street.

Coming from the East Side of Buffalo or East of Buffalo:  Take Rt. 33, (The Kensington Expressway), going West. Exit  at Rt. 198 West (The Scadjaquada Expressway).  Get off at Grant Street. At the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp turn right on Grant St. At the second traffic light bend to the right... this is Military Road. Take Military to Skillen where there is a traffic light. Turn left on Skillen. (Skillen is just past the second railroad overpass on Military.) The first traffic light on Skillen is Ontario; turn left on Ontario. The String Shoppe is on the right, just past the second street.
